SECRETARY OF LABOR HILDA L. SOLIS TO JOIN MAYOR LANDRIEU FOR OBAMA ADMINISTRATION ANNOUNCEMENT TO STRENGTHEN CITIES AND COMMUNITIES
Secretary of Labor Hilda L. Solis will join New Orleans Mayor Mitch Landrieu and other Louisiana leaders to announce a pilot initiative to strengthen local communities and support bottom-up solutions. Recognizing the vital role cities and local communities play in strengthening America’s economy and the importance of cutting federal red tape to utilize government resources efficiently, the Obama administration will announce new efforts to collaborate with cities.
